Deepak Nathan

Deepak Nathan is a talented individual from Tirunelveli, India, who has made significant contributions in filmmaking, education, and charity work. He is well-known for his work in the Mollywood film industry and his dedication to social causes. Deepak was born and raised in Tamil Nadu and went to school at St. James Memorial Secondary School in Nazareth, Tamil Nadu. He continued his education at Malgoskis High School in the same city. However, his true passion emerged while he was studying at Loyola College in Chennai. There, he pursued studies in medicine and occupational psychology, showcasing his early interest in psychology and health.

Deepak's thirst for knowledge went beyond his early education. He studied business and management at Manonmaniam Sundaranar University in Tirunelveli. He also delved into the complex field of psychology, conducting research at King's College. Deepak Nathan's pursuit of knowledge took him abroad to the London School of Public Health and Medicine, where he earned a degree in International Mental Health. This reflects his commitment to addressing mental health issues worldwide. But Deepak's journey isn't just about education. He made a mark in the Malayalam film industry by taking on roles like the villain in “Neram” (2013), Happy Singh in “North 24 Kaatham,” (2013), and “Premam” (2015).

His dedication to philanthropy is equally strong. Deepak has actively served as the State Vice President (Fund Development) of an NGO and leads the 3 December Movement, which advocates tirelessly for the rights of people with disabilities. They collaborate with various medical and disability-related initiatives to bring about positive change in these areas. Deepak also has a passion for public speaking. He has shared his insights and served as an advocate for crucial social issues at SKCET's TEDx events. In addition to all this, Deepak Nathan is a member of the Committee for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Tamil Nadu. His commitment to the well-being of disabled individuals is truly commendable. In this role, he contributes to developing policies and programs that benefit the disabled citizens of the state.
