Deepak has actively served as the State Vice President (Fund Development) of an NGO and leads the 3 December Movement, which advocates tirelessly for the rights of people with disabilities. They collaborate with various medical and disability-related initiatives to bring about positive change in these areas. Deepak also has a passion for public speaking. He has shared his insights and served as an advocate for crucial social issues at SKCET's TEDx events. In addition to all this, Deepak Nathan is a member of the Committee for the Welfare of Persons with Disabilities, Government of Tamil Nadu.
