Shashi Kumar is born on 2nd December 1965 in Bengaluru, Karnataka. He is an Indian Kannada Actor, as well as a politician from the state of Karnataka. His wife's name is Saraswati. He has been seen in many Kannada films of which two 1990 films are very successful, namely Rani Maharani and Baare Nanna Muddina Rani; from this movie, he has to gain very popularity, and he became the top hero of Kannada cinema.
He met with an accident in the mid-1990s. From this accident, he has gone through surgeries that have given him an attractive look in the roles of Kannada films. Shashi Kumar First released the film in 1988 was Chiranjeevi Sudhakara. Apart from an acting career, he has an interest in politics. At 13th Lok Sabha, Shashi Kumar was the member representing Chitradurga and have given a Janata Dal ticket. Further, he joined the Indian National Congress in 2006.
He successfully won the Member of Parliament election for Chitradurga Constituency. He has come up with many Kannada movies, some of the film's names given below, Chiranjeevi Sudhakara in 1988, Yuddha Kaanda in 1989, Rani Maharani 1990, Wanted in 1990, Readymade Ganda in 1991, etc. The latest movie is Kurukshetra in 2019, the movie based on Indian epic Mahabharata.
