Raju Vaividhya is an actor, director, and theatre artist who works in the Kannada film industry. Recently, he has worked in the movie Ratnamajarii that released in the year 2019 and directed by debutant Prasiddh. He has directed three Kannada short movies such as Bombeyaata, Vaari, and OnduSavinaSutha. He got an appreciation for his 16-minute Kannada short movie Bombeyaata produced by C Rathna. This movie was uploaded on Youtube in March 2018 and received a positive response from the viewer.
In an interview with The New Indian Express, he said, “I have worked as an assistant director and written various tragic stories. But being a theatre artist, I observed and understood the troubles of old ones and children, which led me to made Bombeyaata”. He attended Cinerama’18, the national level short film festival as a jury member at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus that held on April 11, 2018.
