Umapathi Srinivas Gowda

A powerful youth leader, a successful businessman, and a great movie producer- this might be just a mere definition of Umapathy Srinivasa Gowda. Umapathy was born in Bangalore to a successful businessman M.srinivasa. The principles and ethics of his father still have an impact on Umapathy's life.

Though born to a wealthy family, Umapathy was brought up with a simple lifestyle. He completed his schooling at Sri Adichunchangiri, an institute in Karnataka. He did his B.com from Gear Innovative Bangalore. After completing his graduation, Umapathy started helping his father in his business, SGB Crushers, a company for rocks and similar materials. Umapathy is a self-made man.

He even owns a cricket franchise team in KPL Namma Shimoga. The team is representing a city in Karnataka since 2015. He first produced a Kannada movie, offered by his friend Kiccha Sudeep. The film was a huge success, and Umapathy became a huge budget producer in the Kannada film industry. "Hebuli," produced by Umapathy, was even appreciated for its story and songs.

In 2021, Umapathi planned to build a huge film city in Karnataka. To reach the place from South Bangalore, one could travel 45 minutes, and it is located 25 km away from Vidhana Soudha. Instead of going to Hyderabad to shoot the films, the Kannada films can be shot in his film city, stated Umapathi. He planned to make huge sets for TV reality shows and serials too. In 2021, Umapathi and Darshan got stuck in a forged document case. Aruna Kumari, Madhukeshava, and Nandisha are accused of having faked the documents of Darshan and Umapathi and blackmailed Harsha Melanta, a close friend of Darshan.
