Ashok is an Indian Telugu film actor who was born in Thiruvaiyaru town of Thanjavur District in Tamil Nadu. He belongs to a middle-class family in South India. He is lucky to be born to his father R. Balakrishnan and mother Rohini Balakrishnan. He also has an elder brother named Aroon. Ashok was brought up in the Mumbai city of Maharashtra. Ashok pursued his school studies from Fatima High School in Vidyavihar and Vani Vidyalaya in Mulund suburb of Mumbai.
