Manikanth Kadri was born on 28th May 1978 in Mangalore, India under zodiac sign Gemini. Manikanth Kadri is an Indian film soundtrack composer and singer. He has experience of around ten years in the industry. He is prevalent in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam language films. His father’s name is Kadri Gopalnath, a renowned saxophonist. He began to work as a soundtrack composer and singer for jingles and devotional albums. He composed the track for a Malayalam television serial "Annu Mazahayayirunnu" and received Kerala's Best Award for best music. He signed a contract for two Tamil movies which never released, but he didn’t lose hope and kept on working hard and got offers again. His father always motivated him to do well and said that he had the expertise and talent in music composition. Manikanth Kadri released his first instrumental album named "Dream Journey" in the year 2001 and was a huge hit. He received his first Award in 2005 for Kerala State Television Award for Best music called "Annu Mazhayayirunnu". He made his debut at the age of 23 in the film industry in the year 2006, with a Malayalam movie called "Smart City". His next film "Mr. Garagasa", released in the year 2007 in the Kannada language. In the following year he scored songs for three movies in Malayalam, Kannada, and Telugu which were "Chandranilekkoru Vazhi", Ganesha and Avakai Biryani. He gave hit songs for films like Savaari, Male Bille, Prithvi in Kannada language, "Amayakudu" in Telugu language and "Orange" in the Malayalam language. His first Hindi movie was "Chaurahien", which was released in 2010 followed by "Fighters". He started working as a music director in the year 2011. In Tamil films like "Udhayan" and few movies from Tulu language in which he directed songs like "Rang", "Chali Polilu"," Chandi Kori", and "Barsa. Manikanth Kadri". He has also worked for television in shows like "Station ID" for "Colors Super Kannada". He has worked on the title song for "Dancing Stars 2" and "Shrimaan Shrimati" for ZEE Kannada. He got the Mirchi Award for the Best song and Song of the year listener’s choice in the year 2009. He won the Best music director by Bangalore music academy for his work in“Prithvi”. His recent movies are "Run Anthony"," Meena Bazar", "Mooka Hakki" in Kannada language and "Shutterdulai" and "Barsa" in Tulu language. He received an Award for directing music in the Tulu film "Rang" and Best background score in "Chalipolilu" in 2014. His music is liked by people of all the ages and from all the regions of the country. He has got a lot to achieve in the industry, and his fans keep on supporting him.
