Kavita Radheshyam is an Indian actress who has done films in both Hindi and Kannada language. In the year 2009, she got a degree from Acting Institute. Kavita came into the lime light when she appeared in a semi-nude photo shoot. The shoot was against the cruelty on animals in India. However, this photo shoot involved her in many controversies. Later, various semi-nude photos of Radheshyam got viral on the internet which she described as fake. She has also lodged a police complaint against the pictures of her on the internet in Mumbai. Kavita is famous for her semi-nude pictures. Radheshyam started her career in the acting field by first appearing in a television series. The name of the series is ‘Who Done it Ulijhan’ (thriller) telecasted in Star One channel.

This series has been directed by Vikram Bhatt. She also acted in short films which are made by Whistling Woods International of Subhash Ghai. Her debuted Hindi feature film is ‘ Paanch Ghantey Mien Paanch Crore’ directed by Faisal Saif. This film got released in the year 2012; Radheshyam’s debut movie in Hindi published by The Times of India in 2012. She has worked in many movies directed by Faisal Saif. Kavita is a very versatile actress. She fits herself in every type of role given to her. Some of her other major films and television series are Ragini IPS, Cobra, Bharla Malwat Rakhtaana, Gajab Desh Ki Ajab Kahaaniyan and many more. She has won many awards for her bold role in several movies. Kavita has rejected the wild card entry offer of ‘Big Boss 6.’ Currently, Radheshyam is the brand ambassador of an Indian NGO ‘ Smriti’, who worked for Save Girl Child.

Vaishali Kasaravalli was born on 12 April 1952 in Gulbarga to theatre enthusiast parents Nirmala and Dr. Chitagopi. She was a well noted Kannada film actor, costume designer and television serial director. Vaishali Kasaravalli completed BA. Late Dr. B.V.Karanth initiated her to theatre. After her family moved to Bangalore, She acted in many plays including Jokumaraswamy, Hayavadana,  Midsummer Night’s Dream, Natakakaarana Shdhaneyalli  Aaru Paathragalu and many more. Vaishali Kasaravalli also directed Sevanthi Prasanga and translated many Marathi and Hindi classic works.She started film career in 1972 with movie "Yaava Janmada Maitri" and later Professor Huchuraya in the same year. Her most popular and remarkable films are Akramana, Yarigu Helbedi,Hombisilu, Angaialli Apsare, Kraurya, Kittu Puttu, Swamy, Thabarana Kathe, Asegoba Meesegobba, Anukolakkoba Ganda, Ksheera Sagara,  Mahadasoshi Sharana Basava,Mooru Daarigalu, Panjarada Gili, Hoovondhu Beku Ballige, Chandramuki Pranasaki, Vigneswarana Vahana,  Palitamsha, Parivarthana, Shanker Guru, Sparsha, Nigatha, Ganeshana Maduve, Thavarumane Udugore, Gauri Ganesha, No 73 Shanthinivasa and others. Her performance as the leading actor in Aakramana directed by her husband Girish Kasaravalli won state government award for the Best actress.Vaishali Kasaravalli also acted in many most memorable TV serials including Kasa Musure Saroja, Malgudi Days, Namma Nammalli, Kshamaya Daritri, Maaya Mruga, Sadhane, and Manvanthara. T. S. Nagabharana directed Namma Nammalli was the first serial she was featured in. She received many honors including the State award for acting in Aakramana. For the movie Thaayi Saheba She received national award for costume design. State award for Best supporting actress (‘Palitamsha’), Rajyotsava award and Natak Academy award.She has also directed popular TV serials like `Moodala Mane'and 'Muttina Torana'. Vaishali Kasaravalli ventured into politics in the 1990s. She contested for the Bangalore City Corporation elections from the Lok Shakti party in 1996 but lost. She was an admirer of former chief minister Ramakrishna Hegde. Vaishali Kasaravalli was married to National award winning and acclaimed film director Girish Kasaravalli. She had a son named Apoorva and daughter Ananya. She died on 27th September 2010 in Bangalore, after ailing for few years.

Jayanthi a.k.a Kamala Kumari is a veteran actress who was famously titled as ‘Abhinaya Sharadhe’ for her talent in the field. She is also known for her versatility, having acted in nearly 500 films of six language films namely, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and Marathi. She acted with the then popular Kannada actors like Ashwath Kumar, Pandari and a record number of 45 films with Rajkumar (one of the most popular Kannada actors of the time). Jayanthi’s marriage to Peketi Sivaram, the Kannada film producer never interfered with her career and she continued to act after that.Jayanthi also acted in 250 to 300 Kannada films, most of which went on to gain success. Jayanthi was known especially for the bold and strong characters that she portrayed during the 60’s and the 70’s when few actors dared to do so. After all these years of acting experience in an array of languages, Jayanthi still plays prominent supporting roles in films.
