’ fame had written the story and the screenplay for the same.
Starring Sri Murali, the movie is about a corrupt police officer who is frustrated with the environment around him, and decides to develop two personalities : a corrupt officer by the day, while eliminating the corrupt and the evil forces in the night as a masked vigilante, Bagheera.
Made on a budget of 20 crores, the movie has earned more than 29 crores, making it only the 3rd Kannada movie to earn the tag of a commercial success apart from ‘Krishnam Pranaya Sakhi’ and ‘Bheema’, which grossed 25 crores and 23 crores respectively.
Meanwhile, Dr. Shiva Rajkumar’s ‘Bhairathi Ranagal’ is doing good at the box office. The movie has earned approximately 11 crores in the opening weekend, and is expected to cross the budget of 18 crores within the opening week.
