Disha Ramesh is a Kannada movie actress who works in Indian film industry. She is known for her movie Devara naadalli which is also her latest release. Disha is the daughter of Mr. Mandya Ramesh Ramesh is an actor and director, goes by the name >> Read More... and Mrs. Saroja hedge. Mandya is also a legendary actor in Kannada film industry. Besides being an actor, he is as well as a comedian, director, and a theatre celebrity. For his acting, he has won numerous awards such as Aryabhata award, sandesha award, Karnataka award, Udaya film award, knocks out the award, etc. her father is very popular among the people of Karnataka. It is from here that Disha got the necessary guidance and decided to enter the film industry.

She completed her studies at Mahajana College in Mysore from where she graduated in BA Journalism. She has also been actively participating in theatre. Ramesh's father has started a theatre named natana which has been holding performances across the country over fourteen years. Her mother Saroja is also associated with it and actively participates in Ramayana. Disha started working on her skills when she was young as she knew and wished to enter the film industry. She continued doing her theatre even in her college days and it’s where she got trained for acting in movies as well.

Her mother also taught her and guided her how the movie and the industry works. She started her career in films with the picture Devara Nardelli. Released on 15th January 2016 the film is a political drama which revolves around the story of how an honest police officer tries to find out the criminals and the reasons behind the explosion in a college of Karnataka which has resulted in political chaos. Directed by B Suresh, the movie did a great collection at the box office, and her parents were also happy with her performance.
