The film’s plot finds its basis from the story of the murder of a software engineer by his fiancée in Bangalore in 2003. A remarkable feature of the movie is that every part of the production was done by an all-female crew, which was the first in the Kannada cinema industry. This was also why most of the actors and the crew members on set worked free of cost.
