Sagar Puranik is a famous director and actor working in the Kannada film and Television industry. He was born on 27th August 1992 in Bhusawal, India. He completed his education at Jain University and PES University, Bengaluru. Sagar started his career in acting at the age of 5 years with Nargund Baba Saheb, a TV serial about freedom fighters from Karnataka, and Chirasmarane, both by Doordarshan. Additionally, he acted in TV series directed by Shruti Naidu, including Rajkumari, Anju Mallige, Thangali and Madarangi, and Mahasati.
Sagar debuted with a film titled Ring Road Suma in 2015. This movie is notable for being made by an all-women crew, the first in Kannada language. He received a Special Mention Award at the 66th
