Kaushal Vishu

Kaushal Vishu, also known as Kaushal Vishukumar is a costume designer, fashion designer, and stylist based in Miami, Florida, United States. He was born and brought up in Mysore, Karnataka. He has studied Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Science & Engineering at the National Institute of Engineering, Mysore, Karnataka. Then, he went to the United States in 2017 to study Masters of Arts (M.A.) in Design and Media Management from the Art Institutes in Georgia, Atlanta.

Kaushal started working at a very young age. He is one of the youngest entrepreneurs and fashion designers who has organized various events, collaborated with many actors and models, and worked on different projects throughout his career. He started working as a costume designer in 2016 at Airier Dreams in Bangalore. He worked as a team leader and created all the fashion looks for female models. He also organized the event inventory set up and coordinated the workflows to conduct quality control for the delivered materials.

In July 2018, he became the Administrative Assistant at the Istituto Marangoni in Miami, Florida, and worked in different areas like admissions, academics, and marketing. Since 2014, he has been working as a freelance creative stylist and directs fashion rehearsals and shows for national and international brands. He also examines the sample clothing materials, garments, and accessories for the models and modifies the designs to achieve the desired results. He also identifies the target markets to evaluate, communicate, and develop the marketing strategies based on the knowledge of established objectives and creative requirements.

Besides, Kaushal is the assistant fashion designer and manager at Baccio Couture Incorporated in Miami. In the Sandalwood industry, Kaushal has worked as a costume designer in various films like Urvi, which was released in 2017. The story was about three women who work together. The troubling circumstances force them to make a plan and take revenge against one common man who destroyed their lives. The film was directed by B.S.P. Besides films, Kaushal has worked on different projects and directed various fashion events, such as fashion show direction for Signature Events, fashion show direction for Madakeri Yuva Dasara, design and fashion show direction for C. Krishnaiah Chetty and Sons, and fashion show direction for Mysuru Rashme Parampere.

He has also been working as the head designer and assistant director for the movie Dharmasya by Akshara Production. For his outstanding work, he was awarded the Best Upcoming Fashion Designer by Synergy Fashion in December 2014.
