KP Aravind is counted among the shining stars of the Film Industry. He is a well-known Indian professional motor racer. He was born on 8 December 1985 in Udupi, Karnataka, India, to a middle-class Hindu family. He, along with his family, are devoted followers of the Hindu religion. His father is Prabhakar Upadhyay, and his mother is Usha Prabhakar. Aravind also has one sibling, a brother named Prashant KP. He completed his initial education at one of the nearby schools named TA Pai EMHS, Kunjibettu, Udupi. Afterward, he finished his under-graduation from MGM College, Manipal. He has had an interest in bikes and racing since his childhood.

His interest in racing intrigued me during his college days when he saw the Kambala racing game in Manipur and was highly inspired by the game. At that moment, he realized his increasing interest in it. He began participating in the local racing events during his college days without informing his parents. After a lot of struggle, he won one of the competitions, and his photo was in the newspaper. He got confidence in his skills and finally convinced his parents too for this. After some time, he commenced national-level professional motorcycle racing in the year 2005. Also, he won the Gulf Directorate National Championship conducted by TVS Racing. In addition, Aravind had won the National Championship title over 17 times in dirt tracks, rallies, and motor crosses.

Besides this, he had also been a contestant in the MRF Supercross National Championship in 2009. Later, he became the first Indian to win the Overseas Motorcross Championship by Sri Lanka Motor Race Drivers Association in 2011. He has faced many challenges in his journey and has gone through numerous injuries as well. His other achievements include National Super Cross Championship at Kolhapur, Coimbatore in 2013, Maruti Suzuki South Dare in 2015, Maruti Suzuki Red De Himalaya in 2015, and many others. Till now, he has been the winner of 17 Nationals and an International Competition. Apart from being a racer, he is also an actor who has been spotted a few times in shows and films. He was cast in the movies Bangalore Days and One Time. Additionally, he was the first runner-up at Colors TV Kannada’s famous show Bigg Boss Kannada 8 in 2021.
