Urvashi Shah is a very talented and beautiful actress, assistant director and costume designer working in Bollywood currently. Urvashi has been working in the industry for quite a while now, she was involved in the making of one of the biggest blockbusters of all time in Dhoom in 2004 when she worked as an assistant director, a stylish heist story about a gang of bikers being chases by an excellent cop. Urvashi has almost grown up on sets, she was even around the time of the making of many hit TV serials of Balaji films and Sony and others. Her next film as an assistant director was Speechless, a very controversial movie about an old man who falls in love with his daughter’s 18-year-old friend. In 2008, she worked as the assistant director on one of the most loved movies of all time in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. A sweet romantic story about two best friends who end up falling in love with each other. Not only was Urvashi involved in the making of the movie, she also made a cameo appearance and portrayed the character of Richa. After this movie, Urvashi worked on My Name Is Khaan as an assistant director, a story about a mentally challenged man living in the United States of America who embarks on a road trip to meet the President of the USA.

After this, Urvashi took a break from movies and started working on her fashion designing skills, something which she was always interested in doing. She loved the fashion industry and she used to follow a lot of the new fashion trends and decided this is something worth pursuing. In 2012, she returned to Bollywood with Jab Tak Hai Jaan, as the chief costume designer of the project.
