Anisha Nagarajan is an American-born Actress and Singer. Anisha was born on the 21st of May in the year 1983. She is from Illinois, United States of America. Her parents migrated to America from India. Her father’s name is Nandu Nagarajan, who is a professor. Her mother’s name is Geetha Nagarajan, who is a former development specialist. She used to play Piano in her childhood and performed a few shows. She studied Carnatic Classical Music. After high school, she went to New York University, where she studied acting.
She married Aalok Mehta in the year 2005. Aalok played a role in the play “Bombay Dreams” in which Anisha was a part too. Anisha started her acting career with a few plays. She got to play the lead role in the “Bombay Dreams” at the Broadway Theatre in 2004. She later got to play a small role “Hope & a Little Sugar” (2006). She then onwards played some small roles in the TV shows like “Outsourced” (2010-2011), “Grey’s Anatomy” (2014), “Code Black” (2016), and a few more. She composed music for the TV series “Seeking” (2013-2015).
