Abhijeet was born in Kanpur and belongs to a Bengali family. He got his primary and secondary education from Ramakrishna Mission Higher Secondary School, Kanpur, and got his higher secondary education from BNSD Inter College Chunni Ganj, Kanpur. In 1977, he did his graduation in commerce from Christ Church College, Kanpur. In 1970, he started singing on stage. He learned and developed his singing style by listening to Kishore Kumar’s songs. In 1981, he went to Mumbai to get a degree in chartered accountancy, but his passion towards music was very strong, therefore he started his singing career.

In the 1990’s, Abhijeet was a playback vocalist. His records became popular when he did a song in a film ‘ Baaghi’, which was Anand-Milind’s composition. After Baaghi, he did many songs in different films like Ek Chanchal Shokh Hasina, Har Kasam Se Badi Hai, and Chandni Raat Hai. In 1994, he did many songs for movies, such as Anjaam, Yeh Dillagi, Raja Babu and Main Khiladi Tu Anari.

In 1997, he earned the Filmfare Best Playback award for Yes Boss. After that, he did many songs in different movies. He worked with female singers as well, such as legends like Lata Mangeshkar and legendary Asha Bhosle. Most of his duets are with Alka Yagnik. Abhijeet also recorded non film pop music- Main Deewana Hoon and Tapori No.1. After these two pop music albums, he launched ‘Aashiqui’, and he also released a pop album named Tere Bina. Another pop music album which he released on 30 May, 2006, was Lamhe. In 2014, he released another album and the name of this album was AB.

Abhas Joshi is a new singer who has carved a niche for himself in the music industry. This young superstar of playback singing also has another talent in his home, who is his brother. Abida Parveen

Abida Parveen is a graceful Pakistani Singer born on 1954 in Larkana, Pakistan. She is a well-arched lecturer of Sufi music. She is from Sindhi ancestry and knows Kalaams and music in depth. She is one of the finest singers from all over the world. Abida started her career from RADIO PAKISTAN based in Hyderabad in 1973. She started with a song that was already sung by many other Ghazal singers who are well-efficient in Sindhi and Sufi music. TUHINJE ZULFAN JAY BAND KAMAND WIDHA is the song she started with, Abida sung this in her own style and with so much grace that she became one of the top singers in the music industry. She became a popular voice of the country. She started performing in several singing shows and become the judge of many shows later. She performed in 1980 in the show called ​AWAZ-O-ANDAZ and other shows NARA-E-MASTANA, 1st HUM AWARDS and SAMA-E-ISHQ etc. In 2012, she judged a television singing show SUR KSHETRA where Indians and Pakistani singers performed together and Abida represented Pakistan. She won the ARY Award for the Best Playback singer in 2013 for the film ISHQ KHUDA.  Abida is so good with music and languages that she can perform in Sindhi, Hindi, Punjabi and Seraiki four different languages. She mostly performs Ghazals and is very strong in Kafis, it’s a solo manner to perform with harmonium. Abida’s father was also a Sufi singer and Abida said her father sings from the soul. At the young age, Abida and her father together used to sing in Sufi sanctuaries and this all was normal in her religion. She sang there at the time of festivals mostly. She said I don’t sing for money, it’s my destiny that I got a good knowledge of Sufi music. She definitely sings and records the CD’s not for money but to give peace to people souls and her satisfaction.
