Priya Sreedharan is a film producer in Bollywood. She has produced three movies in a row, and they are ' Shanghai.' 'LSD: Love, Sex Aur Dhokha', and ' Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!'. In her first film, ‘Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye!' she was associated with a purpose of being an executive producer.

This film was released in 2008. It was directed by Dibakar Banerjee and produced by Ronnie Screwvala. This was also a film to get a National Award. Through this film, she came to know how the film industry works and more about the business and the risks inherited as a producer.

It is her first film project like a breath of a fresh air. First of all, although she is a female producer she did not feel even once that she is breaking some of the rules of the film industry where it is mainly male-dominated.

Things worked out very well with her first film, and on the second project, she got busy with Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor project. In her second project titled ‘Love Sex Aur Dhokha’ (2010), she showed everyone that one can afford to be daring and different and still be around to make more films.

The film was shot on digicam fully, and it is one of the first films in our country to have the found footage style. In this film, director Dibakar Banerjee inter-connected three episodes within the film, namely, love, sex, and deceit. Ekta Kapoor has the style of making sex story funnily. Priya’s second film was an unexpected success; though it had many detractors.

This film chose to present the lives of all three couples into one movie where in the beginning it almost appeared that the film has three separated issues ( love, sex, and deceit) but in the end, it gives you a total surprise.

The film was part of an intelligent cinema and the film can be really can be called a cult classic movie too. While her first film ‘OYe Lucky! Lucky Oye!' was made on a small budget the second too had a similar presentation.

The second film LAD faced some cuts from the censor board where a bareback lovemaking scene had a scissor cut and even a song lyrics' Tu Nangi Achi Lagti Hai" was changed to ‘To Gandi Achi Lagti Hai.’ Her third project titled as ‘'Shanghai'’ was directed by Dibakar Banerjee, starring Abhay Deol, Emraan Hashmi, Kalki Koechlin, Prosenjit Chatterjee, and the film released even in Bengali in some parts of Kolkata.

The film did not receive a huge response like the two earlier films but yet was screened at the film festival abroad. The film showed the dark side of political set-up that destroys the living pattern of poor when the government builds infrastructure in the city.

Witten, co-produced and directed by Dibakar Banerjee, the film had received good critical acclaim. Her next project ' 3 Storeys' is being co-produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani, and Pooja Gupta. The film is looking forward to getting released in 2018. The film is directed by Arjun Mukherjee, and it is a small budget movie.

What surprises many critics is that her involvement in filmmaking is just an opposite of her curriculum. She is a highly intelligent person in the globe who has done many research programs in U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory following her graduation from the University of California, Berkeley and worked in her capacity to solve environmental and energy problems at the nexus of engineering, policy, and economics.
