Plot:
This film attaches strings of three stories set in a chawl in Mumbai, where the three characters live on three different floors of the same chawl. The first segment is about a businessman looking for accommodation in Mumbai and meets with a lady Renuka Shahane, who lives alone and is looking for a buyer of her flat. She tries quoting her house for a sky-high price. The second segment deals with the story of a housewife who faces the brunt of her alcoholic husband and meets with an old flame of hers. Analysis:
The dialogues and screenplay deserve an ‘A,’ but there were a lot of unnecessary scenes in the film. The role of Richa Chadha also seemed like a misfit with the story. The music and visual appeal were average and the teaser of the film also didn’t get a lot of response from the audience.
