Shalmali Kholgade is very famous Indian songwriter and singer and she was born in 2 January 1988 in Mumbai. She is renowned playback singer in Marathi and Hindi films. She started her career in singing from the film Ishaqzaade by singing a song “Pareshaan”. For this song Shalmali Kholgade has received so many awards records that include Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer.
After that she gave her voice for some hit tracks like Balam Pichkari, Lat Lag Gayee and Daaru Desi from the movie Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Race 2, and Cocktail respectively.
