Prasad Barve is an Indian voice-dubbing, television and film actor who can speak both Hindi and Marathi languages. He was born on April 10, 1981 in Mumbai, India. Prasad was popular for doing comedic roles on television.
Prasad’s first significant role was from the Hindi supernatural soap, Shree on Zee TV where he essayed the role of Nihaal. Then he was roped in to do the role of Jitendra Prasad, an intern in the second season of the medical drama series, on STAR One. Prasad also started his acting journey as a child actor in the 1994 film, Vishwavinayak. He also acted in the film, Hide & Seek. Recently, Prasad was also cast as Pyaare who unknowingly become famous for solving a ghost case in the horror comedy series, Pritam Pyare Aur Woh on SAB TV. In 2011, he also acted in the bi-weekly television drama series,
Pyaar Mein Twist
on STAR Plus channel. In the same year, he was also selected by

to compete in the reality game show, Zor Ka Jhatka: Total Wipeout on Imagine TV. In 2013, he played a pivotal role as Randhir Faujdar, the husband of Mohini Faujdar (played by

Besides acting on television serial, Prasad has done advertisements for Tata Sky together with
and Cadbury. He is also popular for doing voice-dubbing jobs since he was eight. As he grows, he started dubbing in the Small Wonders along with Paul C. Scott. He was also the Hindi voice behind Eddie (played by Orlando Brown) in the Americal teen sitcom, That’s So Raven on Disney Channel. He has done Hindi voiceover for popular cartoons and anime such as Scooby Doo, Stitch of Lilo and Stitch, Ash Ketchum of Pokémon and in Perman.
