Both films released in the same year. He wrote a song Nikhatoo for The Legend of Michael Mishra. In YehKaisiHaiAashiqui, he worked along with MahilPaldhvi and wrote the song lyrics. In 2017, Amitabh penned down all the song lyrics for the movie Ashley. Amitabh Ranjan's recent film to hit the theater is Jai ChhathiMaa in 2019 where he, wrote all the songs for the film.
