Vivek Agnihotri is the man behind some of the most loved and critically acclaimed Bollywood movies. This famous producer and a screenwriter was born in Gwalior and is currently residing in Mumbai.

He started his career in advertising and has launched brands like Gillette and , working for agencies like Ogilvy & Mather, JWT. He made several ad films and won many awards like AD Club Gold for his hard work. But he always thought that he was meant for something bigger and better. The Indian film industry was his ultimate goal.

Hence, this God gifted young Director made his debut in the Indian Film Industry, from a movie called ‘Chocolate: Deep Dark Secrets’ in 2005. From that point, there was no stop for him as he went on directing one hit movie after another like “Dan Dana Dan Goal”, starring and , “Hate Story”, which got fame for its music, etc. In 2014, his movie “Buddha in a Traffic Jam” was screened at Mumbai International Film Festival. This unique film was an official entry into events like the 7th Global International Film, 5th Dada Saheb Phalke Film Awards and even bagged three nominations at the Madrid International Film Festival.

Currently he is shooting for a movie called Junooniyat starring and . He is the proud owner of the production house called Vivek Agnihotri Creates Pvt. Ltd.He got married to a National award winning actress Pallavi Joshi and is a happy father of two children. He is a complete family man who is dedicated and passionate about his work.
