But as the viewers were dejected after the show was pulled out, Kapil launched a new comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony. But now it is understood that there will be only 26 episodes. But the show will again make a comeback with its next season. Thus, the show is being planned for many more seasons. 
Sony Channel's insiders have revealed that they would like to shoot the show at a stretch for 13 weeks and take a break, and then do a similar follow up for the next season! This new comedy show on Sony had a follow-up of 1,08,000 conversations on the Twitter page!  The new show on Sony got premiered on 23 April 2016.
