Ismail Tara is a famous Pakistani comedian and actor.  He was born on 16 November 1949. Ismail is working in Film and Television industry since 1980’s.He has also worked in various stage plays and dramas. He is known for his work in a stage drama called Soney ki Chirya. He is known for his performance in many television shows such as Fifty-Fifty in 1990’s also Rubber Band in 2005, Yeh Zindagi Hai in 2008, One Way Ticket in 2012 and also Pak Villa and Dheeli Colony in the same year 2012, Orangi Ki Anwari in 2013.Tara is renowned for his role in a Pakistani television show Fifty-Fifty in which he earned quite a huge success.

He has also contributed in writing some scripts for Fifty-Fifty and also Majid Jehangir. He is widely known among the audience for his parody on while robbing a house. Ismali Tara has also done quite a few famous movies like Munda Bigra Jaye in 1995, Saathi in 1993, Chief Sahib in 1996, Yeh Dil Aap Ka Huwa in 2002, Khulay Aasman Ke Neechay in 2008, Main Hoon Shahid Afridi in 2013, Jawani Phir Nahi Ani in 2015 and many more. Recently he has teamed up with Majid Jehangir for a program called Ajab Keh Rahay Ho Bhaee and re-enacted Muhwa and Babwa act on Express News.

He has won Nigar Awards for best comedian in Haathi Mere Saathi, Munda Bigra Jaye, Chief Sahib, Aakhri Mujra and Deewarein. Ismail Tara was also nominated for a leading role and received Award for comedy series Fifty-Fifty.
