Yasser Usman

Yasser Usman is an acclaimed author, television journalist, biographer, and news presenter. He was born in the 1980s in Delhi. He completed his school education at various schools in Uttar Pradesh and later, moved to complete his graduation with Bachelor of Science from Delhi University. After that, he moved to complete his Master of Science from Sikkim Manipal University of Health, Medical and Technological Sciences, he joined his training in journalism for television and radio at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi. For almost 16 long years, he dedicatedly worked at ABP Network as a Deputy Executive Producer. In 2022, he joined the company Cricketnmore as a Consulting Editor and Content Strategist.

He strategized and curated new content and storytelling formats for multilingual sports websites, among the top five cricket websites in the world. He was motivated to write about him after watching Dutt’s film at Osian’s Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema in 2004. He has been honoured with awards and recognitions. In 2006, his show “Raaz- Forensic Files Se” won “Best Crime Show” by the Indian Telly Award.
