Ira Trivedi is an Indian author and columnist born in 1984 in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. She did her graduation in economics from Wellesley College in 2006 and further completed yoga training at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centre. She holds a master’s degree MBA from Columbia University. Her other books like the desi guide to dating, Om the yoga dog, Nikhil and Riya, and The 10 Minute Yoga Solution helped people to understand yoga practices more fairly. She founded Namami Yoga and Yog Love, an organization and an online application. She was awarded the Devi Award in 2015 and a UK media Award for the best investigative article. In 2017, she made the list of 100 most influential women in the world according to BBC research.
