Born in 1972, Sara Bennett is a visual effects supervisor known for her work in films like Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets (2002), Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004), Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005), Ex-Machina (2014), Doctor Who (1996), Merlin (1998), The Chronicles of Narnia (2005) and The Martian Click to look into! >> Read More... (2015). In 2016, Sara won the Academic Award for Alex Garland’s Ex-Machina.
She is the second-ever woman to win an Oscar. Apart from this, she has won Emmy Awards for BBC/Hartwood’s Sherlockin 2013. She won BAFTA Crafts Award for consecutive three years for Doctor Who (2014 and 2015). She was also nominated seven times for BAFTA Crafts Award for Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell.
Sara now owns her own VFX company called Milk with four other people. Before Milk, she was working with Mill TV and Film for seven years. Now Sara is a member of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, BAFTA, and Visual Effects society.
