Alain Delon is a well renowned French actor and businessman and is widely known as Europe’s most bulbously popular actors and sex symbols from the 60s. He was the recipient of the Honorary Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival, 2019. He was born on November 8 1935, in the city of Sceaux, France as Alain Fabien Maurice Marcel. Currently residing In Switzerland, he identifies himself as Swiss since 1999. He has been an active face of the industry since 1957 till 2012. He is known for his critically acclaimed roles in the movies Rocco and His Brothers, The Leopard, Lost Command, Plein Soleil, Le Samourai, L’Eclisse, The Yellow Roll Royce and many more.
He has closely worked with many world-renowned film directors including the likes of Louis Malle, Michelangelo Antonioni, Luchino Visconti, and many such legends. He is the recipient of multitudinous accolades including the Honorary Golden Bear at the 45th Berlin International Film Festival.
