Stunt Performer
A Stunt Performer is a person who is professionally trained to do dangerous scenes in films or movies. They stand in for actors in case of certain scenes such as car crashes, fight scenes or falling from a building etc. They maybe trained in areas like Martial Arts, Diving, Gymnastics etc.
There is at least 2 to 3 stunt performers who are required in each movie because actors are not trained to perform such intense and risky scenes. A stunt performer is different from a stunt double as he/ she is not expected to look like the actor. They make an action movie so appealing to the audience.
With the health conditions of actors becoming a bit unstable and owing to age factor, a lot of stunt performers are demanded in making a movie. There is a lot of risk in this job, thus only those people who understand the sequence and the way it works are allowed to perform the same.
