Conrad Palmisano

Conrad Palmisano is a world famous stunt-unit director in motion pictures. He has an experience of 5 decades as a stuntman. He was associated with a Bollywood flick Dhoom-3,  as a stunt director for which he was awarded 'ZEE Cine Awards' for Best Stunt scenes in the film. The amazing tricks, crazy maneuvers and adrenaline-pumping action scenes that he provided in the movie Dhoom-3 were mesmerizing. He performed the motorcycle stunt and car chases for the film Dhoom -3 and was appreciated.

Earlier, he also had done stunts for Jackie Chan and Sylvester Gardenzio Stallone movie and even appeared in some TV series too. Since tons of people in Hollywood are vying for roles as stuntmen but an average stunt double do not make the fortune at all. Hence, this stunt director Conrad represents the Stuntmen's Association of Motion Pictures which takes care of stuntman activities. 

He also has been in the Director of Screen Actors Guild which comprises a union of theatrical workers that sets the minimum day and weekly rates for stunt work. Later, he also formed the National Stunt and Safety Committee for stuntmen for which he was a chairperson. When Conrad came in as a stuntman, the western movies had only horse falls and big fights, etc. in a, but later on he was capable of dong car stunts, motorcycle stunts, and high falls even. 

He’s not one to back away from a stunt in any movie, which is partially why he is one of the today’s biggest stuntman.  Stuntmen are there for any dangerous situation a film that are too hazardous to the actors hence this veteran stunt director was invited even by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Science. 

Some of his earlier best contribution as stunt director include for a TV series ‘Southland  (2009) and a motion picture “Dark of the Moon’’ (2011). After gaining immense popularity in Hollywood 'Rush Hour' and 'Lethal Weapon') and Bollywood (Ek Tha Tiger and Dhoom-3), the stuntman Conrad Palmisano, was also earlier seen in choreographing some stunt scene for Mahesh Babu’s flick ‘Nenokkadine’ which hit the screen in 2014. He was born on May 1, 1944,  in California, United States.
