Project Head
A Project Head in general terms is a person who leads a specific task. In the media field, a project head may refer to a person who plans, organizes and co-ordinates a particular department in a movie or a TV program. Their prime role is to ensure the smooth day to day functioning of their respective departments. This job requires leadership skills and a commanding attitude.
However, he should not be rude or arrogant. A project head has an important role in the process of filming i.e., to take immediate action as and when required so that the process is not delayed. He has to ensure the quality of work done by his department and take responsibility for the same. Project heads in a movie may include Production Heads, Editorial Heads etc.
Thus a good project head co-operates members within his team and also amidst various departments thereby paving way for the successful completion of a movie or a program.
