Carl Laemmle Jr

Carl Laemmle Jr (actual name Julius Laemmle), an Oscar awardee, was born on 28 April 1908, Chicago, Illinois, the USA to Carl Laemmle, the founder of Universal Pictures producing one of the finest movies right now. Carl’s mother, Rocha Laemmle died when he was 11 in 1919. The rest of the Laemmle family shared an apartment in New York City. Long-standing as an executive producer at Universal productions he had become in charge of production, on his 21st birthday.

He then proceeded with independent productions in 1936, but none of his projects was successful. Laemmle Jr died at the age of 71 from a stroke on September 24, 1979, at Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
