to her parents Arlene Vrhel and Joe Mantegna. She has one sister named Gia Mantegna. Mia Mantegna was seen in a small role in a movie named ‘Love on a Train’ (2011) which was directed by Raymond Martino. The actress was also spotted in another movie ‘Sunshine Manor’ (2011) directed by Greg Donoghue and Raymond Martino.
She was diagnosed with the nerve disorder and had been suffering from autism in 1990. Later, she got cured and made her career as an actress under the guidance of her father Joe Mantegna. Mia had a weight of just 1 pound 13 ounces when she was born and she was totally different from other kids. It is believed that she spent first three months of her life in intensive care unit. Her speech level was not at the same level with other kids.
As she could not attend school, she was enrolled in special classes by her parents, Mia Mantegna attended the regular classes from fifth grade onwards. Besides her love for acting, this actress currently teaches every aspect of film business to young adults in New York City. She also spends some time in a restaurant run by her mother.
