Gilly Flower was an Actress and Model. She worked in Hollywood. She was born on 26th August 1908. Gilly Flower lived in London, England. Flower played the role of Miss Tibbs in twelve episodes of the show Fawlty Flowers, which was produced in a series of six episodes each, separated by a three-and-a-half-year interval. A Londoner, Flower had her first role in 1932. With the advent of television in Britain, she found a new outlet for her talents. She started to appear in programmes like Steptoe and Son, Z-Cars, and The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin. Early in her career, Flower was also a model, promoting hats from Kembray – which are found in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery. She died on 17th February 2001.
