Fanny Marguerite Judith Ardant or Fanny Ardant is a French actress. She was born on the 22 March 1949 in Maine-et-Loire, France. She was a child of a French cavalry officer. When she was fifteen-years-old, she discovered Proust. Fanny admired Proust’s writings a lot. She used to feel that those writings are for her. Her father died when she was seventeen-years-old, and she never recovered from that shock. Just a few days before her father’s death, Fanny started acting on stage. But as her father died, she followed his advice and went to a university in Air-ex Provence. Fanny read Political Science. After her graduation, she took a job. Where she worked for a French Embassy in London, she continued working on more jobs for a while.
And later she decided to attend a drama school. And then she went back to France for her higher studies. She then started acting on stage and television drams. In 1981 she had been cast in a film Francois Truffaut’s “The woman next door.” She also got a Cesar Award nomination for best actress for this role. While working for the movie, they fell in love and got married in the year 1981. They had a daughter together in 1983, whose name is Josephine. Later in 1984, Truffaut died because of a Brain Tumor. By the end of the 80s, Fanny became a big film star.
