Celia Weston is a television, film, and theater actress from South Carolina. Weston is an alumnus prestigious University of North Carolina School of the Arts, known for its creative excellence. Her career spans over more than four decades in the American entertainment industry. She began her career in theater, and gradually moved into television and finally paved her way into films.
She has performed in countless Broadway Productions, including “Loose Ends,” “The Lady from Dubuque,” “Garden District,” etc. She became popular with Jolene Hunnicutt in the CBS television sitcom- “Alice”(1981). She has also starred in movies like “The Talented Mr, Ripley,” “In The Bedroom and Far From Heaven.” She received an Independent Spirit Award nomination for the film “Dead Man Walking” and a Tony nomination for “The Last Night of Ballyhoo.”
