Amy Davidson

Amy Davidson was born on September 15 th, 1979 in Arizona, America. Her parents were rationalists, her father being a Principal, and her mother an English lecturer. Her parents sent her to learn dance at a very young age since she exhibited a liking for the art.

True to their instincts, Amy soon mastered the art of dancing, and she became a skilled dancer of pointe, hip-hop, ballet and also modern dancing.

During her higher studies, she got the opportunity to act in various advertisements, since she had gained recognition from the locals after taking part in numerous dance events. She began to learn to act during her high school period and considering her natural talent in acting, her teacher suggested that she must try her luck in Hollywood.

She appeared as a supporting character in the 1995 movie ‘Teenage Tupelo’, but failed to gain the attention from the audience as her role did not have much significance in the movie. However, she gets a big break in the year 2000 when she is cast in the television movie- ‘The truth about Jane’. Her performance as a character named Elizabeth gained a lot of attention from the viewers.

After her small success with the television show, she appears in various television series, in small and big roles. Her next movie was released in 2007, titled as ‘Netherbeast Incorporated’. Amy also appears in various series and reality shows as a guest.

The most popular movie that Amy took part was ‘Goyband’, which was released in 2008. In Goyband, Amy plays the lead role. She married Kacy Lockwood in 2010 and successfully runs an online lifestyle and fashion venture. Amy still is extremely devoted to her acting career as she performs in any role regardless of its prominence, since she believes that all characters are equally important in bringing life into the story.
