The latest entry of step up starts to feel like a mixed wrap, even by the standards of the series. But once the stars stop talking and start their feet flying, everything is forgotten and forgiven.
Plot: As every other step up movie goes, it does not carry much of a plot. Summed up simply, after a long struggle, Sean, the protagonist, gets to participate in a dance competition. He builds a strong pair of two extremely talented dancers and his crew to win the dance competition. Whether he wins his dream or not remains the climax.
Analysis: Directed by a Grammy award winning choreographer Trish Sie, the only thing this movie lacks is the presence of the charming Channing Tatum Born in a small town called Cullman in Alabama, Ch >> Read More... and his moves. The director makes use of 3d dance sequence better than any of the series predecessors.
Star performances: Ryan Guzman as the main lead performs his best and impresses everyone with his curvy body and his majestic moves. His acting has developed further compared to his previous movies. What’s there?
1. Dance, dance and more dance. The official plus of every step up movie.
2. The cinematographer’s exceptional way of capturing the actions in 3D.

What’s not there?
1. Editing can get a bit of step-up.
2. The plot is very less compared to its previous movies. It can be expanded.
3. The dialogues and the dance sequences which follow do not match.
Verdict: This movie works for every dance lovers out there in the world. If you are in for some stepped up fun and beats, this movie is good for you.
