Stephen Humphrey Bogart is his maternal half-brother, and Leslie Bogart is his maternal half-sister. Besides these two, he has five half-siblings through his father. When Sam was seven years old, his parents divorced. After some years, he moved to London with his mother. He went to the American School in London. Again they relocated to New York, and he attended Collegiate School. He joined Sarah Lawrence College, but soon, he dropped his studies and joined the National Theater Institute at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center in Connecticut.
