Kym Barret is an Australian Award-winning Costume Designer. She is from Christmas Island off the Australian coast. She later moved to Sydney to study design in National Institute of Dramatic Art. Kym started her career as a costume designer with the film “Romeo + Juliet” (1996) which got her great attention. She later collaborated with Lana and Andy Wachowski.
They worked for the films “The Matrix” (1999), “The Matrix Reloaded” (2003), “The Matrix Revolutions” (2003), and a few more. Kym is a master in designing for Movies, Tv, and Theatre. She can design for all sorts of genres, including Thrillers, Sci-Fi, Crime, Comedy, and every other. She designed costumes for the opening and closing ceremonies held of the Winter Olympics in Sochi in the year 2014.
