Japanese-American Jordan Nagai is famous for his voice-over for movies, animated films and video games. He was born on February 5, 2000 in Los Angeles, California, USA. He is a voice-over artist. His older brother Hunter Nagai gave a shot for the same but couldn't make it.

Jordan Nagai's voice is so attractive that the director Pete Docter selected him at the first audition itself. The character Jordon Nagai took in the movie is of Russell. This is a story where Carl (the other character in the film) and Russell fly to South America by tying balloons to the roof of Carl’s house. Though it is a bit funny, they have some adventurous experiences in South America. It is a lifelong wish of Carl and the portrayal of his life is heartbreaking. This movie is one of the best animated pictures released in 2009. This movie received world famous critical recognition not just for his role, but also for the director Pete Docter's effort to make the film and Jordon Nagai’s dialogue delivery.

He says, sometimes he strived a lot to make Nagai deliver his dialogues. He had to frame separate exercises to get the work done. Pete says that Jordan's voice was so impressive that whenever he got exhausted during the production process, his voice was the force that kept him going.

It is due to his credit that Jordon Nagai was shortlisted among five hundred people who gave auditions. With just two roles, he has already achieved worldwide recognition.
