Frank Turing popular as Francis William Thring Junior, a radio presenter, theatre, TV, and film actor, and director. He was born on 11 May 1926 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia and died with esophageal cancer on 29 December 1994 at sixty-eight in Melbourne. However, Frank Turing VI, actually his grandfather was Francis William Thring, and his father was France William Thring Senior; both sons adopted their father's name. Frank William Thring was a sweet, kind, and honest person. He has completed his schooling at Melbourne Grammar School. His father, Francis William Thring Senior, was the head of the theatre J C Williamson's in 1920, and after that, Francis William Thring Senior founded a production studio, Effete Studio in Melbourne.

Thring Senior was also a famous producer and partner in the Australian Theatre Hoyts. Francis Senior was died, in July 1936, when Frank Junior was ten-years-old. Frank Junior spent most of his time in acting and production. His most famous role was Pontius Pilate in the movie Ben-Hur in 1959. Frank was trained as an actor in his family’s radio station 3XY. He debuted with the stage play Salome in 1954. Two years later, he again acted on the stage with 'Doctor In The House,’ which was so liked by the audience. Frank Thring faced the camera at a young age under his father's direction, The Sentimental Bloke, in 1932.

The film ran for five weeks in the theatre of Melbourne and earned £2,000. It was the third most popular Australian movie after On Our Selection, The Squatters Daughter. The movie was also released in England but unfortunately flopped. Frank always wore a black suit, and at his house; the walls color was also black.

Thring appeared in many TV programs, quiz shows, popular weekly series as a guest. Frank Thring was married to actress Joan Cunliffe, but the marriage ended with divorce. Frank's wife Joan lives in London, Thring always wanted a child, but unfortunately, their marriage ended without issue. Frank also wrote a book, The Actor, who laughed. Frank Thring has left funds to establishing the National Institute of Dramatic Art in his will. A staff of a hundred artists made the costumes. The shooting was started on 18 May 1958 and finished on 7 January 1959. The producer used over two-hundred camels and two thousand horses in the film. It was the highest-grossing film in the year 1959. The movie won eleven Academy Awards, Golden Globe Award. The movie is based on Lew Wallace's novel, Ben-Hur: A Tale Of The Christ. Zimbalist hired several screenwriters to turn the novel into a script. MGM, The casting director, opened a casting office to select the 50,000 people for doing extra and minor roles in the film. It was rated by nine out of ten, and ninety percent of Google users loved the movie.
