Malova Majumdar is a script writer based in Kolkata. She was born and brought up in Kolkata, and has a sister, Kasturi Majumdar. She completed her schooling from Lake Town Government Sponsored Girls High School, and her graduation from Jadavpur University, Kolkata. Majumdar began her career by writing the scripts for the T.V Series Bibi Chowdhurani and Rajjotok in 2014. She got married on 29th January, 2016. Later, she worked as a writer in Jhaanj Lobongo Phool (2016), Tobu Mone Rekho (2017), Bhootu season 1 and 2 between 2016 and 2018. She also wrote the screenplay of around 600 episodes for the TV Series Joyee in 2017 to 2019. In 2019- 20, she wrote a very famous and super hit TV Series Netaji which is a patriotic drama about the life of Subhas Chandra Bose who joined the freedom struggle. 2021 was an important year for Malova as she wrote several shows such as
