Ushasi Ray is a 28-year-old Indian Television actress who became famous for the excellent acting skills she showcased while playing the lead roles in some Bengali television serials. Ushasi was born & brought up in Kolkata, West Bengal. She completed her schooling at Kamala Girls' High School and has done her graduation in History from Asutosh College. Ushasi is popularly known as Rubayee.

Before doing television, Ushasi did Natok in ‘Chatana Kristo Sangsad.' She got her first big break with Star Jalsha's 'Milon Tithi.' In this serial, she played the lead role of Ahona Mallick opposite Jeetu Kamal. After this, she gave a cameo appearance as Muniya in ‘Jai Kali Kalkattawali,' a Star Jalsha's Detective Show. Ushasi made her debut in the web series while playing the lead role of Brinda Chatterjee in ‘Turu Love at Hoichoi’. She debuted in cinema as Lakshmi in ‘Iskaboner Rani’ which was aired on Zee Bangla Cinema.
