Sampa Kundu is a famous singer. She was born on 15th February. She completed his schooling at Saraswati Balika Vidyalaya and her college studies at Jaipuria College. After this, she did an MA in Vocal Music from Rabindra Bharati University in 1992. She received music education from her father Subir Kundu (disciple of Late Tarapada Chakraborty), and her mother Mrs. Bela Kundu. She received classical training from Sri Amalendu Pal. After this, she received education in light classical and light music from Sri Sukumar Mitra, Smt. Sipra Basu, Sri Anal Chatterjee (Adhunik Bengali Songs), Sri Jotilaswar Mukherjee (Adhunik Songs), Sri Amar Pal (Folk Song).

Sampa started his career at a very young age. She performed in many shows in the country and abroad. She participated in many music competitions and also performed in many music shows in which he also won many awards including All India Radio Association Award, Golden Talent Music Competition HMV, Gouriprasanna Smriti Sansad, Hemanta Mukherjee Smriti Award, Indian Institute of Chemical Biology Award, Kishore Kumar Award, Musical Award HMV (1999), Radhakanta Nandi Award, TVS SAREGMA Award 100th Episode-ZTV, TVS SAREGMA Award 200th Episode-ZTV, Uttam Kumar Award, West Bengal State Sangeet Academy (1989), and West Bengal State Sangeet Academy (1990).
