Anny Ahmed is an Indian singer, artist, and songwriter in the Bengali music industry. She hails from Berhampore, Murshidabad and has been a successful musician for over a decade. Her parents are Nazimuddin Ahmed and Rekha Ahmed, and she has a brother named Sunny Ahmed. She attended the Berhampore Maharani Kashiswari Girl’s High School and graduated in Bachelor of Science in Mathematics at Kalyani University. Later, she pursued Master of Science in Mathematics at West Bengal State University and Bachelor in Education at Satyapriya Roy College of Education. Her musical journey started on a classical note at the age of 6 but later she delved into western music. She has been a stage performer since childhood.
Besides being a musician, she is an educator of Mathematics in EdTech and also pursuing a PhD in mathematics. She is also an Assistant Teacher at Techno India Group for Mathematics and also Co-HOD of the department. She was also a band member of ‘A Dot in The Sky.’ Her songs include creations like Sonar Palonker Ghore, Aro Dure Cholo Jai, A Prayer For Humanity, Dhwanilo Ahwbhan, Haway Mele Dana, and many others. Her hard work and determination in Bengali music industry is worth noticing and she continues to grow with all the support.
