is an Indian film producer famous for making a Bengali film, C/O Sir, in 2013. She is a known personality in Bengal and the founder or CEO of KR Movies and Entertainment. KR Movies and Entertainment is a television production house producing the films like Bawal (2015) and Cholai (2016). Jaspreet Kaur is the one who is known for producing a documentary on Irom Chanu Sharmila titled The Turning Point.
She has adapted Vanara: The Legend of Baali, Sugreeva and Tara, Author Anand Neelakantan for making her next film. The first theatrical release of KR Movies was C/O Sir, 2013, for which Jaspreet Kaur received a National Award for the director role. Eventually, she became the youngest female producer in Eastern India. The film for which she worked for the first time, i.e., C/O Sir, was also released in Singapore.
