Anupam Ghatak was a popular music composer in the Bengali Film industry. Anupam was born on 11 April 1911 in Bangladesh. Anupam worked as an assistant in the music department for the film Bidyapati released in 1937. The film was directed by Debaki Kumar Bose featuring Pahadi Sanyal in the lead. In 1941 Anupam composed songs for the movie Karnarjun directed by Jyotish Banerjee and Satish Dasgupta casting Biman Banerjee, Manoranjan Bhattacharya,
