Bipin Nadkarni is a film director in Indian Cinema, who was born in August 1964 at Mumbai. Bipin Nadkarni completed his bachelor's degree in Arts from Elphinstone College in Mumbai. In the year 1989, Bipin Nadkarni started his profession by working in the commercials and he worked as an assistant to Ram Madhvani and Sumantra Ghosal. Bipin Nadkarni worked in the Advertisement industry for almost ten years.

Later, Bipin Nadkarni, under the banner name Opticus Films, started directing and producing Advertisement films. Bipin Nadkarni directed and produced both these films, which has earned many nominations and awards.

Bipin Nadkarni then continued working in Advertisement films and made his Bollywood debut in the year 2020 with the film Darbaan which has a plot about a boy and his caretaker based on Rabindra Nath Tagore's short story.
