Saumitra Singh’s first-ever film was ‘An Unknown Sport,’ which was selected at the sports film festival and ReelLife 2018. The story is that of a brazen woman who proves that biking is not just for boys and calls everyone to follow their dreams. Another one of Saumitra Singh’s emotional films is ‘Painful Pride’ that deals with the subject of Menopause. The wallet fame director marked his directorial hattrick with the film ‘Kala Bai From Byculla.’

Saumitra Singh has always been passionate about the media environment. He has always searched for intellectually and creatively challenging professional space. He started as an intern at the IBM7 Network 18, and then worked as an assistant coordinator, creative graphic designer, art director, cinematographer, and poster designer! Singh completed his schooling from St. Xavier’s High School and graduated from Amity School of communication.

He can speak four languages that include Hindi, English, Awadhi, and French! Saumitra Singh keeps his followers updated on social media and keeps posting about his new ventures. He gives daily updates on new films, poetic pieces, articles that feature him, and much more. Singh is associated with various charities and NGOs like the Mamta international foundation.
